Click here for a larger image of The Half Moon, Built by Ralph W. PrestonThe bottle is a 5 liter Pyrex flask about 10" in diameter. The model has been purchased by the Flessensjeeps Museum in Enkhuizen, Holland for an undisclosed price. It is in their permanent exhibit. About 500 hours were consumed in building the model.

The ship was used by Hendrik Hudson in exploring the New World. He discovered Hudson River and Hudson's Bay.
